Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Nutrigen Sp. z o.o. ("we", "us", or "our") processes refund requests for our BackMetric service ("Service").

1. Free Trial Period

We offer a 14-day free trial period for new users. During this trial period, you can explore all features of your selected plan without any charge. No credit card is required to start your free trial. After the trial period ends, your subscription will begin, and you will be charged according to your selected plan.

2. No Refund Policy

All payments for BackMetric subscriptions are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused with an active account. Given that we provide a 14-day free trial period, we encourage all users to thoroughly test the Service before committing to a paid subscription.

3. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged for subsequent periods. No refunds will be issued for the remaining time in your current billing period.

4. Billing Errors

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or there has been a billing error, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate the matter and, if an error is confirmed, we will issue a refund or credit to your account.

5. Payment Failures

If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service until payment is received. We may attempt to charge your payment method up to three times. After three failed payment attempts, your subscription may be automatically cancelled.

6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. When you upgrade, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period. When you downgrade, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing period. No refunds or credits will be issued for downgrades.

7. Unused Service Credits

We do not provide refunds for unused backlink monitoring credits, unused data storage, or any other unused features within your subscription plan. All subscription features are available for your use during the active billing period, and it is your responsibility to utilize them.

8. Account Termination by BackMetric

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate our Terms of Service. In cases of termination due to Terms of Service violations, no refunds will be provided. If we terminate your account for reasons other than Terms of Service violations, we may, at our sole discretion, provide a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

9. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, such as extended service outages caused by BackMetric (not including third-party service failures), we may, at our sole discretion, offer service credits or partial refunds. Such decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

10. European Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the start of your subscription, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws. However, by using the Service during this period, you expressly agree to waive your right of withdrawal. If you have used the Service during this 14-day period, no refund will be provided.
